VKTRY Gear is the culmination of over 100 years of footwear experience. Matt Arciuolo, the creator of the VK, comes from a long line of shoe craftsmen. In 2005, Matt became the Pedorthist for the U.S. Olympic Bobsled/Skeleton team.
Thinking of what he could do to make the bobsledders faster in the “push” before they jumped into the sled, he had the idea to develop a specially designed insole to provide greater energy return to the athlete. In 2015, after 10 years of research and refining with elite athletes from around the world, across sports, he patented what is now known as the VKTRY insole (VK).
The VK is the first-ever high-performance dynamic athletic insole designed to return the energy an athlete generates as explosive power, speed, and agility. Independent testing of athletes using VKs shows average improvements of +4 inches (+10cm) in the broad jump, +1.6 inches (+4cm) in the vertical and yard sprint improvement of up to .3 seconds (on a 40 Yard Dash)
