The successor of Zepp E was launched officially a few days ago. Bearing the name Zepp Z, this sports watch comes with a body made out of titanium and carries other useful features as well including a series of useful tracking sensors.
This is only the second device launched since Huami acquired Zepp few years ago. Even the first device was also launched few months ago, which came with two different design choices of a fashionable fitness sports watch. One of which had a rectangular watch-face, resembling that of Apple Watch. The other had a more circular / round watch build. Make of both these smartwatches was of premium quality and both watches came with AMOLED display.
Now Zepp Z is being launched as well and it is sportier in its appearance without losing any elegance. It only comes in a round shape, unlike its predecessor’s two shape options. It’s unique appearance makes it look good enough for any occasion whether its official with corporate setting or casual in a sports environment.
Zepp Z is crafted out of a polished alloy of titanium making it almost weightless. It only weighs 40 grams and yet it is remarkably strong. It is unaffected by scratches as well thanks to its coating by NTC nanotech.
Zepp Z has a screen size of 1.39 inches with AMOLED Display. Its screen resolution is 454×454 pixels with the pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. Its brightness reaches a peak value of over 550 nits. The official dimensions of this smartwatch are 45.9mm x 45.9mm x 10.75mm.
Apart from this, it incorporates a BioTrackerTM 2.0 PPG optical sensor for bio-tracking, Accelerometer, Capacitive sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Ambient light sensor and Air Pressure sensor inside it. It also comes with a variety of sports modes to choose from, along with GPS connectivity. Gigantic battery life of 15 days and that too after a charge of mere 150 minutes makes it very long lasting. Zepp Z is launched with a price tag of $349 and can be purchased from Zepp website.
