According to Canalys, a firm which conducts market researches, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 by Xiaomi is the most popular smart fitness band across the world selling more units than any other band during the 3 quarter of last year and first quarter of this year.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 comes with a strong mixture of important fitness and tracking functionalities coupled with affordability. This has managed to win many customers over for Xiaomi. Xiaomi already had a large consumer base in Asia for its smartphones and other products so the familiarity with the brand was never an issue as it was already a renowned one but its Xiaomi Mi Band series has managed to make the popularity grow even more beyond Asia and across Europe and America as well.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 was unveiled back in June of last year and it managed to sell over a million of its units in just over a week. Ever since then, it has been flying off shells as its popularity only ever increased from there. Xiaomi has managed to sell more than 100 million wearable product units since 2014 and Xiaomi Mi Band Series has a massive contribution to offer in this gigantic sum.
There is no doubt that Smart Watches have been the main focus of smart wearables market for a long time now but fitness bands have also increased in popularity over last few years and many brands have stepped in this space making the competition ever more intense. Holding the number 1 spot in a market like this over a period of almost a year is nothing less than a massive achievement.
