Apple has officially launched the new version or the update of WatchOS for all the users of latest Apple Watches around the world.
This new update in the software includes some minor bug fixes apart from a few new features as well. In app purchases have been made available to the public in this update which means people can purchase items in applications from the Apple Watches now. Third Party Applications for Apple watches can rejoice after this news as it can prove to be very beneficial for them. A few of the health and fitness features have been enabled to regions like Chile, Turkey and New Zealand as well.

– Introduces in-app purchases for Apple Watch apps
– Fixes an issue where music playback could pause when switching from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth connectivity
– ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 or later now available in Chile, New Zealand, and Turkey
– Irregular heart rhythm notifications now available in Chile, New Zealand, and Turkey”
Next feature which will become available soon is the capability to unlock vehicles which has NFC technology. However this is not certain yet if this feature will make its way into this version of WatchOS or a future update in software.
WatchOS 6.2 can be installed simply by connecting your Apple Watch to the Wifi and making sure it has more than 50% battery left in its thank. All you need to do is go to Device settings and tap on the software update option present there. This is followed by instructions given on screen. An iPhone running on iOS 13 is needed for all the features of this watch to work properly. WatchOS 5.3.6 has also been released for costumers of olders iPhones as well. WatchOS 7 is under development as well according to the rumours. We can only wait for now before anymore news starts coming our way.
