Mobvoi has launched the next iteration in the series of its wireless earbuds. TicPods 2 Pro and TicPods are both the second generation in the TicPods series. Both these earbuds bring with themselves better sound quality than their predecessors. TicPods 2 Pro also brings with itself voice and gesture controls.
From the outside, these smart earbuds look exactly alike however TicPods 2 bro are a little heavier then TicPods with the difference in weight being only 0.2 grams. Both these earbuds have an open-fit and smooth design and slimmer stems. The sound is transmitter directly to ear canal of the user thus eliminating the need of a silicon bud.
These smart earbuds come with a charging case which is also used for safe keeping of these earbuds. This case has seen a 42% reduction in size as compared to its predecessor which makes it much convenient to keep. This charging case can be charged with the help of an A-C cable as it supports USB-C type charging.
Other features have also been improved in these earbuds in comparison with their predecessors. A Qualcomm aptX Audio encoder is also integrated in these earbuds which has significantly improved the quality of sound than the original TicPods. Noise cancellation features works in harmony with this high quality sound to give a truly high-definition audio experience to the user.
Both variants carry the same touch controls as their predecessors while other features include AI Assistant, Water resistance with IPX4 rating, quick pairing and a play time of 4 hours. Battery can last for as long as 23 hours with charging case for TicPods 2 while TicPods 2 Pro drain power a little more quickly thus lasting only 20 hours with the charging case. 5 minute of charge can last for as long as an hour.
TicPods 2 cost $99 on Mobvoi’s official website while TicPods 2 Pro cost a little more than that. Both variants of this generation of TicPods can be ordered online from Amazon by the shipments will start after some time.
