Telemundo; Virtual Reality App For 2018 Football World Cup

Football fans all over the world take a seat as your fantasies and dreams are about to be come true. Telemundo is reported to introduce the first ever virtual reality app for the football World Cup which will be held in Russia, in 2018.

The virtual reality football experience is in demand lately, but supply has been limited to football clubs. Telemundo VR app will allow the fans to view the matches of their choice via a VIP Suite that is virtual and which will make them feel like they are in a stadium.

The fans will be able to watch the live matches through a “super wide angle feed”. It includes 360 degree short feed as well as another 180 degrees feed with a different and multiple angle clips of the game. The app is said to be available on various mobile devices along with a virtual reality device and headset.

Telemundo will have all the access to create most of the content. It will also present the Spanish Language broadcast of the World Cup 2018 along with coverage worth of 700 hours by Telemundo Deportes. This also includes 56 matches featured on Telemundo and 8 on Universo. Telemundo network has also planned on a series of live-shows which are going to be recorded in Moscow. It will all be available live on the Deportes EN VIVO app on all devices, tablets, smartphones, desktops etc.
