Recently, Speedo Olympic Swimwear Range 2021 was launched amidst pandemic. The exclusively designed sports uniforms were launched by a parade of champions at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
Being the latest tech suits, they are innovative as well as designed for detail. Fastskin Pure Intent and Fastskin Pure Valor both have a vast experience of more than 20 years of designing new fabrics alongside keeping in mind the latest technological im-plications. They have, therefore, come up with the perfect fabric for an underwater swim and the perfect cut for a rapid swim.
Ian Chesterman, Australian Olympic Team Chef de Mission said “Speedo has a rich Olympic history, providing Australian Olympians with the best competition and training wear since the 1956 Melbourne Games. They have developed a cutting edge uniform for Tokyo 2020 to help our athletes in aquatic sports achieve world class performances, and I’m sure our swimmers, divers, water polo players and surfers will wear their Speedo Australian Olympic Team gear with pride.”
Speedo has been performing extensive research as to how sharks and fishes reduce drag while they swim. Also, while working in close collaboration with the Natural History Museum in London they have tried to always introduce the smartest fabric to date.
The Fastskin Pure Intent is designed keeping in mind the concepts of hydrodynamics and the biomechanics of swimming. It will allow the swimmer a wider range of motion in the legs and will be easy to put on and wear. The fabric is flexible and reduces drag. The Fastskin Pure Valor is Speedo’s lightweight technical swimsuit and features moderate compression along with bonded seams for comfort and speed.
