The Qualcomm company has introduced this Snapdragon Wear system. This will boost the performance and battery life of all smartwatches. In fact, this system was introduced way back in 2016. It is the lying power behind Google based Wear OS watches including Fossil Gen 5 and Suunto 7.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 3300 Will Go Longer and Perform Faster
Actually, it is the processor that handles the entire functioning of the smartphone. It is the basic component that also controls its battery life. Using ARM quad-core A53 processors and Qualcomm Adreno 504 class graphics processor, the Wear 4100+ shrinks to 12nm technology. That results in enhanced battery life and performance.
The company claims that this new processor has given a 25% boost in battery life. Also, it has resulted in an overall increment of 85% in performance. This stats is as compared to the previous Wear 3100 system.
Oppo Watch Wear OS software and features
Users can now use a continuous 18 hours of tracking with a smartwatch powered with Snapdragon Wear 4100. Also, it will provide a week-long battery where the user can monitor heart rate, track walking steps, and other such activities.
Snapdragon Wear 4100+ Processors are smart in assigning tasks to their co-processors. This leads to an intelligent division of tasks in the background. The co-processor can handle basic tasks like sleep tracking, fitness tracking, etc. Also, GPS tracking can be done with low battery power also.
