Zach Stahl, Anthony Mazzacane, and Paul Franco teamed up to perform a research study, during which they discovered that 80% of NCAA athletes suffered from dehydration. They then decided to come up with a smart wearable that would track down an athlete’s hydration level and in turn be a useful gadget for all players and their coaches. They named their team “Sweatration” and came up with the idea of this original concept, designed a prototype, and pitched it to all the guests who attended the event.
Later on, a final decision was made by the judges, where this undergraduate inventors team, namely Sweatration won the first position.
