Different companies have come up with different ways to protect the athletes from any severe injury that may be affecting their games. Owing to this notion, a Florida based startup, RadiFit is geared up to prevent the injuries with its smart knee support to the players.
Knee ligament damage is one of the key things due to which a player has to take a backseat during games. The help of a smart knee band will provide players with up-to-the mark support. The knee wearable keeps a track on all the movements of the joints of the wearer and instantly sends information to a compatible app.
With the help of distal interphalangeal joints (DIP) system, the connected knee support system becomes aware whenever the knee is becoming prone to injury and alerts to take an action immediately for the prevention.
RadiFit will provide the athletes with a power to accurately monitor their muscles. But, it is not restricted to the athletes only, as it can be used by everyone and anyone who is associated with intensive activities that can lead to knee injuries.
RadiFit’s smart sports knee wearable will be up on the Kickstarter for backing soon. The company on its press release stated;
“The sleeves can be pre-ordered now for $199. However, kickstarter backers will secure the sleeves at a discounted price.”
The shipment of the wearable, if crowdfunding turns out be successful, is slated for 2017.
