Quatix 5 can track sports activities for paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing. With Gramin’s electronic chart plotter aboard, it can have autopilot controls, racing assistance and way point marking covered. Whatever sports you’re indulging in, Quatix 5 can track your stroke, distance per stroke or even total distance along with lap tracking and boat speed.

The hi-tech marine watch equipped with high sensitivity GPS navigation and tracking functions features altimeter, barometer and a compass to accurately monitor elevation, air pressure trends etc. An additional installed gyroscope makes sure to improve position precision and battery life. Quatix 5 can also be used to control on-board entertainment system with built-in Fusion-link lite app and stereos. It has a great battery life upto 2 weeks in smartwatch mode, 24 hours in GPS mode and upto 60 hours in ultra-battery saver mode.

It can calculate and keep a record of your physical activity profiles and training statistics such as heart rate for multiple sports like running, biking etc both in water and on land, alike. Quatix 5 is built to feature a sunlight-readable color display with an LED backlight so data is easily visible in any light. With an omni-directional stainless steel EXO™ antenna and high-sensitivity GPS with GLONASS support, it has the ability to track in more challenging environments than GPS alone.
Quatix 5 offers a sleek, smart design, featuring exclusive Gramin QuickFit band system which can be easily changed without any tools or hassle. It also enables users to set customized watch faces and activity apps. It is expected to become available in June 2017. It will be launched in two versions: the Quatix 5 and the Quatix 5 Sapphire. The quatix 5 Sapphire will have a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens and will include a stainless steel band along with QuickFit band. With a suggested retail price of $849.99, it’s also Wi-Fi enabled so users can connect their watch to their home network for automatic uploads to Garmin Connect™ when within range. The non-sapphire quatix 5 comes with a blue silicone QuickFit band with a suggested retail price of $599.99.
