Sports Technology Awards has always revealed the Sports Technology Power List. The big news is that the shortlist for 2017 sports technology awards is out. Over 70 sports were represented and submissions were received from over 30 countries from all over the world. The standards were as high as ever but even more international and varied.

Cardiff City FC – Goal of the Month:

Cardiff City Football Club launched an innovative and game changing incentive which allowed each player representing Cardiff City FC at every level to capatilise on their on-field achievements by battling it out each month in a bid to win Club Goal of the Month trophy. This was a simple, unifying concept.

This team was behind the greatest cycling race in the world. It was surely a compassionate and dedicated team.

Samsung Slider HSBC – Rugby 7s:

Samsung Electronic UK unveiled one of their greatest inventions in Sports viewing, the Samsung Slider. Rugby fans were offered a chance to get closer to the action than ever before. The Samsung Slider was a state of the art four person mobile seating unit that offers an innovative new way for fans to enjoy the match.

West Ham Utd FC – 360 Immersive VR:

As West Ham made preparations to close their historic Boleyn ground and move to Olympic Stadium, Immersive VR were commissioned to create a fitting tribute to the ground and its fans.
