PLOOTA World’s first, “smart” and inflatable lifeguard

Are you scared of drowning? Do you ever get dreams about sinking in a bottomless ocean? Well, not anymore because Ploota will be your new lifeguard. We have helmets and seat belts for vehicles, but no safety device for swimming and watersports. Ploota is a revolutionary invention when it comes to that.

Ploota comes with two inflatable carbon dioxide filled cushions that are activated by an intelligent triggering system. It offers a fun water experience with the safety of automatically activated sensors that trigger the release mechanism of the balloons which can also be activated manually.

Rainer Fakesch, founder of Ploota, discovered the importance of safety measures during water when one of his own family member had a near death experience due to drowning. Thus came Ploota, a smart neck worn device that gets activated when you are underwater for more than 30 seconds. It is the world’s first automatic sensory device for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

Ploota is suitable for everyone from toddlers to adults as it comes in 3 different sizes (S, M, and L). It is modern and sleek, made with light and soft material which doesn’t obstruct swimming. It uses reusable carbon dioxide cartilages which are easy to change. It also has a battery check button. It is an ideal device for everyone who loves water sports like rafting, water skiing, canoeing, fishing, surfing etc.

Ploota is up on Kickstarter can be preordered for $70 along with single use, easily swappable carbon dioxide cartilages. It is set to be shipped worldwide in October.
