A picture has been leaked of an upcoming smartwatch by Huami which will supposedly go by the name of Amazfit Ares. This photo has been leaked in the Amazfit’s very own smartwatch application. This upcoming smartwatch will be an additionally robust version of Amazfit T-Rex.
Back in 2019, Amazfit launched a wide range of smartwatches and it has not slowed down by any means in 2020. Amazfit’s range of smartwatches has enlarged massively in this time period. Amazfit Bip S and Amazfit X have already been launched during early months of this year and now we are heading towards the release of Amazfit Ares.
Amazfit T-Rex was also launched by Huami this year and it is also available on Amazon for purchase as well. It is a highly durable smartwatch as it can withstand weather conditions from as low as negative 40℃ to as high as 70℃ heat. It has a certification of United States Military Standard 810g.
Now according to rumors, reports and leaks, Huami is working on a smartwatch with even higher durability for the athletes of more extreme sports and harsher conditions. This smartwatch, The Amazfit Ares, had its photo leaked on the Amazfit smartphone application in its Chinese version. It surfaced in section of the application which lets you choose a new device to pair with your Amazfit app.
In this leaked photo, Amazfit Ares appears to have an octagonal body and one button present on the side of the smartwatch. This smartwatch will reportedly have more than 70 sports modes which will include many extreme sports like mountain running sky diving and more.
“Huami has been in the sports field for many years, and there have been users who told us that they want a watch for a variety of sports, that has a distinctive appearance. So there is this urban outdoor style of Amazfit Ares, soon to launch, it supports 70 sports modes. I hope everyone will like it.” Stated Huang Wang on Weibo. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Huami.
Asian launch of Amazfit Ares seems to be around the corner but nothing could be said about the world wide launch considering the situation the world Is in right now.
