Coming soon is the Oppo MariSilicon X NPU and Smart Glasses Launch At Oppo Inno Day 2021. The very first by Oppo, the Neural Processing Unit (NPU), will be unveiled at this upcoming event at the end of December. Alongside the NPU, Oppo also plans to unveil its smart glasses and a foldable smartphone. The event will go live virtually and viewers across the globe can witness the official launch of the new gadgets. The expected dates are around the 14th and 15th of December 2021.
Founder and CEO of Oppo, Tony Chen, will begin with a speech regarding the company’s strategies and new directions it is supposed to take in the coming new year. Then the official unveiling will take place. New items include a pair of sunglasses, NPU and chances are that it might also reveal its new smartphone during the event. Oppo may also introduce its Retractable Camera and Digital Human alongside other innovative gadgets related to imaging, AI, AR, and 5G. Moreover, a recent Tweet from Oppo indicates they have named their upcoming NPU as the MariSilicon X.Grapevine says it, that Oppo has also developed a unique retractable smartphone camera technology. It has even disclosed a clip showing a smartphone that showed how this technology actually works. Oppo may also launch a foldable smartphone, that would be embedded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It has been reported that this phone has already received certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China.
