Intel True View: An Immersive Sports Experience
Intel’s sports division has taken the sports viewing experience to a new level. As they release their latest endeavor “Intel True View”. This is an immersive sports viewing experience where the audience game and if they were right on the soccer pitch.
The Idea
The makers are teaming up with English Premier League Champions Manchester City to introduce the Intel True View Tech. the partnership is giving us a creative and interactive experiences so that we may enjoy a big moment from many different angles.
“Intel’s pursuit of next-generation immersive media experiences continues with the launch of immersive highlights, marking another step forward in reimagining the sports experience for fans,” said James Carwana, Intel vice president and general manager of Intel Sports, in a statement. “Intel and Manchester City share a common goal of leveraging technology to deliver amazing experiences to fans, and we’re thrilled to extend our partnership with the Premier League champions with a new technology launch that will create new ways to tell the story of sports.”
Intel believes that technology has created innumerable opportunities for the sporting world. The evolution though has its challenges due to the increase in data processing to support the tech. Intel wishes to provide a computing backbone to the sports experience. Immersive highlights provide a completely new view of Manchester City and Etihad Stadium. It gives control to the fans and what they want to see from key positions on the pitch. This endeavor brings a certain freedom to the sports viewing audience.
What Intel True View Offers:
This puts fans in the middle of the action as they see and visualize the game and yet a better understanding of the key choices and match strategies.
The highlights are captured with strategic cameras and published to a mobile app through which the fans can take control with a 360-degree spin perspective. Fans can interact with the video highlight as they select a player of their choice and view the game from their perspective.

Intel View uses a series of strategically positioned cameras that capture data create a unique 3D game action highlight. The Stadium is equipped with several 5K high-definition cameras, as well as Intel servers with Intel core and Intel Xeon processors.
With Immersive highlights Manchester City has entered an exclusive era of viewing experience immersive highlights will be available on the official Manchester City App available for iOS and Android devices.
