A startup based in Italy, which goes by the name of bONE Tech has just inaugurated the crowdfunding project for a Ski Wearable that not only has bone conduction audio in it but it also carries the Bluetooth 5.0 technology. With these smart goggles for skiing, your normal snowboarding or ski routine can be much more fun and entertaining. On top of that it also provides a safe but connected experience to the wearer.

Listening to the music and podcasts while snowboarding or skiing has become easier now thanks to these smart wearable goggles. The best thing about IceBRKR is that it makes no compromises on your safety. It uses the state of the art bone conduction technology to transmit audio to you which keeps your ears uncovered making you aware of your surroundings. Bone conduction technology basically sends sounds waves to your ear directly by vibrating the bones of your skull. This whole experience gives you a surrounded sound sensation.

“IceBRKR is the answer to staying as connected as you want to be on the slopes,” said Marco Collini, He is the founder as well as the Chief Executive Officer at bONE Tech. “You can take calls, listen to music or podcasts, all without removing your gloves or mask or blocking out the sound around you.”

The design of these smart goggles have ensured that all the keys for control options can be accessed easily while being completely out of sight. You can also activate controls through your voice commands. But may be the most impressive feature of these smart goggles is the intercom technology that uses Bluetooth 5.0 Mesh which lets you stay connected with as many as 18 people at once for communication

IceBRKR is expected to start delivering from November of this year as hinted bONE Tech and so far the crowdfunding campaign has been a success so far with goal of funds raised being achieved weeks before the end of the actual campaign.
