HUWAEI NOW RELEASING AR GLASSES

Back in November 2018 CEO Richard Yu stated that his company was working on AR glasses and now about a year later the wait is finally over. At the Huawei P30 launch, the company announced that it is collaborating with Korean fashion brand Gentle Monster to release their first smart glasses.

The company though having released smart eyewear had not yet worked on AR. The glasses mostly functioning on speakers and smart assistants.

This year they may or may not be releasing their next generation of smart eye wear at IFA 2019. The company is said to be working on several models of the product as it files patents under the name of Huawei AR Glass and Huawei VR Glass.

The product is said to include voice assistance which brings us to the question as to which voice assistance it plans on using? Given the struggle between Google and Huawei. Or would it include their personal OS HarmonyOS?

Hopefully Gentle Monster’s style and Huawei’s Technology might just bring wearable Technology to the next level.
