Huawei’s Celia Voice Assistant will be added in GT2 SmartWatch very soon. The update is very likely to be announced by the company in a few months’ time.
Already, Celia is the existing Voice assistant of Huawei smartphones. This same assistant will be now present in the upcoming models of Huawei smartwatches.
Although it is not known which models will contain Celia, but this feature will bring an incredible change in smartwatch technology. The Huawei smartwatch GT2e and smartwatch GT2 both have a built-in speaker and microphone feature.

According to Duan Mengran, director at Huawei,’Celia, our smart assistant will be brought to the smartwatch soon’. Huawei’s Celia Voice Assistant was first introduced in June. This was done along with the Chinese P40 series. When you say ‘Hey Celia’, the assistant will serve your requirements as you wish. It will set your alarms, check weather updates and perform a browser search. Isn’t that absolutely wonderful?
Lately, several tech giants have introduced voice assistance in smartwatches. But, much more effort and progress is needed for a proper run. Apple Watch introduced Siri, its Alexa on Fitbit Versa 2 and Google Assistant on Wear OS. None of them have been really successful. Let’s see the success rate for this one.
