Huawei Watch GT 2e Brings a Sportier Design and Blood Oxygen Sensor

Huawei unveiled Huawei Watch GT 2 at its launch event which took place last week. The specifications of this smartwatch are nearly identical to Huawei Watch GT 2, which was launched back in October last year but the update brings with itself a blood oxygen sensor.

The shape of the watch is still round however the buttons on the side have taken a more boxed shape as compared to the round ones present in Watch GT 2. The straps have a very sporty appearance and resemble closely to that of Apple Watch’s straps.

Except from this, the screen is 1.39inches in size with AMOLED display. This high quality touchscreen has a 454×454 pixels resolution. The bezel is thicker and the watch is larger than its predecessor in size. That being said, it still has a very light body due to its metal/plastic body.  The watch is also water resistant for up to 50 meters under water which roughly is under 5 ATM of pressure.

The smartwatch offers around 100 modes for workout. Yoga, rock climbing, parkour and skateboarding are some of these workout modes. This smartwatch also throws out some of the Firstbeat features like Recovery Time, Vo2Max and Training Effects.

TruRelax feature by Huawei helps you relieve a little with stress releasing exercises. The sleep monitor is also available in this smartwatch which can identify some common sleeping conditions as well. Watch GT 2e is equipped with 455mAH battery which makes it last around two weeks of normal use. Huawei Watch GT 2 also has same kind of battery life.

Watch GT 2e is available in multiple options of colour including Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green and Icy White. It costs $195 only and it will soon be available in the market. It can be pre-ordered as well and it costs around $50 less than the original Watch GT 2.
