Huawei Watch 3 Features, Specs & Details

Here’s all about the Huawei Watch 3 Features, Specs & Details.

Very recently, Huawei has announced its first smartwatch that will run on it own operatig system, which is the Harmony OS. This is some important news as we look forward to the performance of this new software. Previously, Huawei smartwatches had run on Google’s Android Wear and only two operating systems were known to the world.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT?

Although the OS is new, the features of this new smartwatch are more or less the same as Huawei’s previous models. A major difference is the redesigned home screen that now consists of a watchOS-style grid of apps rather than a list.

With a circular dial and a 1.43 inches OLED display, the Watch 3 comes with a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It has a rotating crown like an Apple watch and comes in few different styles. An ‘active’ model comes with a rubber strap, a ‘classic’ model with leather, and an ‘elite’ version with a metal bracelet.

Temperature sensor
New to this version, the presence of a temperature sensor makes Huawei Watch 3 different from its predecessors. This sensor can continuously track the temperature of your skin all day long. This makes it feasible for being useful in the health and fitness sector.
Other than this, the Huawei Watch 3 features also include heart rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking and comes with a hundred workout modes. This includes almost all sport types.
AUDIO/VIDEO SUPPORT
The Watch 3 can also be used independently from a phone with its own 4G LTE connection. It supports making direct voice calls and also supports video calls via Huawei’s MeeTime service.

BATTERY PERFORMANCE

With 4G turned on, this watch will give you around three days of battery life. But, this can extend to 14 days life if you turn off the service. The best thing is to use the phone in “ultra long-lasting mode.” The Watch 3 supports Qi wireless charging. Even though the charge is low, Huawei claims you can still track your activity and workouts.

Releasing on the 18th of June, 2021, the Huawei Watch 3 will cost £349.99 in the UK. It may be a little expensive in other countries, most probably till around £499.99. Huawei Watch 3 features and specs look exciting, hopefully, the smartwatch will function and perform as superb on the new OS as it did previously.
