Huawei Band 4 Copies a Lot Of Features From Honor Band 5i

Huawei has just recently launched the Huawei Band 4. This brand new fitness band falls under the category if budget devices and carries a lot of functionalities that are present in Honor Band 5i. Honor Band 5i was launched only a few days back and its recent release may even be the reason of all these borrowed features being noticeable.

Both these smart wrist bands have a 0.96 inches 2.5D color screen display along with an impressive 160×80 pixels resolution. Both devices are water proof and can be submerged into 50 meters in water. An Apollo 3 processor is running both these smart bands. As a matter of fact, the only noticeable difference between them is their Home Buttons. Huawei Band 4 has a pill-shaped home button while the Honor Band 5i has a capacitive one.

It not much of a secret that Honor is a sub brand of Huawei. So this all looks no more than a rebranding ritual.

Huawei Band 4 weighs only around 24 grams with its wristband. All the usual smart band features like steps count, heart rate sensor, infrared monitor, distance count and calories count etc are present in this fitness tracker smartband. Activity tracking is also included which tracks excercises like walking, running, free training etc. All these exercises carry their own set of stats for performance analysis.

Remote shutte, Notifications and Find My Phone are some of the other mentionable features present in Huawei Band 4. It can be charged via a USB-A connection as the entire core attaches itself to the USB-A port eliminating any need of a cable. It also has a gigantic 7 to 9 days battery life with a battery that takes no more than 90 minutes to charge.

Huawei Band 4 has launched in China and it costs an equivalent of 30 US Dollars in local market.
