Huami is all prepared to unveil its new series of Smartwatches named Amazfit T-Rex all across China this year on 8th of January. This smartwatch is also expected to be unveiled internationally soon. This can be said considering that this smartwatch has dropped a few days ago by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States.
It has become hard to keep count of how many smart watch series are introduced by Amazfit in the market. A large number of these smartwatches were released over the summer of last year and from what we have seen so far, it appears that it will continue to unveil more. Amazfit T-Rex is not the only watch to be unveiled in early January this year as Amazfit Bip S will also find its way into the market soon.
The Amazfit T-Rex was originally planned to be launched across chine on the New Year’s Day but now its launch has been delayed for a week. Nothing has been revealed by Huami with regard to the specifications of this watch but according to a few rumours, this smartwatch will be water resistant up to 5 ATM pressure and will carry a 390 mAh battery. BT5.0, Built-in GPS and BLE connectivity will also be incorporated in this smartwatch as well.
The device has been reported to have circular shape and a heart rate monitor under it. A total of four buttons will be present on the watch body which will be marked back, down, up and select. From the looks of it, it appears to be a competitor for Garmin Fenix 6. Amazfit T-Rex will have support of the Amazfit smartphone application which will allow it to connect to the smartphones and communicate with them.
Works on a futuristic smart band are also in progress by Huami along with other major fitness related wearables including smart earbuds, smart shoes and more smart watches.
