Huami has already dropped some hints and teaser regarding the products and categories it is going to unveil at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year. CES 202 will be held from 7th January to 10th January in Las Vegas, Nevada in United States of America. From what the teasers suggest so far, it looks like the products being teased with are closely related to fitness and activity tracking. An electronic device related to shoes, a smart watch and smart earbuds will most likely be the three products launched by Huami at CES.
Huami made itself really busy during last year as it introduced the world to a large number of devices during 2019. This large number of devices included Amazfit GTS, Stratos 3, Amazfit GTR smartwatches and some other devices as well.
Huami teased “an exciting news” for the start of this year during the early days of last month but many just assumed it to be the launch of Stratos 3 in international market. Amazfit GTS and Amazfit GTR are available for the consumers in Europe and America to buy, Stratos 3 is yet to be released worldwide. And as it appears now, the exciting news is much more exciting than we originally assumed.
A post shared on Chinese social media platform, Weibo, has some clues embedded in it. In this poster, an outline of a female runner appears to be made out of small lightening points. Wrist, Shoes and ear of this outline appear to be brighter than the rest of the body. And it does not stop there, as the caption of this teaser says “Not Just Smartwatches” which clearly suggests that Huami has decided to take a step further from smartwatches and wristbands to compete in other wearable markets as well. Smart wireless earbuds have been confirmed by Huami so far and so is a smartwatch called Amazfit Bip S which is the next iteration in the line of Amazfit Bip smartwatch. Anything other than that, we will have to wait till 7th of January to see what Huami had in stores for us.
