Google Fit prepares for a lot more sports and workout tracking...

Google Fit will soon be coming with a reliability for workouts, due to the new features added. It means that all of your gym goals and workout would now be focused with a lot more detail and precision.

Google Fit will now be coming with a new climbing goal, which could be used if you are climbing rocks or walls or running up the stairs. Apart from these, you will also be able to track exercises such as triceps extension, abdominal crunch, bench press, and Russian twist, however, what are they that remains to be known. In the code version there were about 51 new exercises, but we know and expect that there will certainly be a lot more fitness coming our way in the advanced version.

Fit will also get the round app treatment, just like most other Google apps get, for better consistency with launchers that support the new standard, like that on the Pixel.

None of the mentioned features have gone live now. These details are based on the assumptions taken from the code and the speculations extracted since a long time. However, the function of backing up a data to an external source have started rolling out to the Google Fit’s around the world.
