Included features are heart rate monitoring system, distance and time measurement metrics.
Now this new Garmin’s Forerunner 45 GPS Running Watch has some special metrics included in it. These metrics allow for Race Predictor and Recovery Time Advisor. After acquiring Firstbeat, Garmin has implemented the heart rate data obtained from their algorithms. This new watch is capable of keeping track of heart and pulse rate.

The Garmin’s Forerunner 45 is in the market at a special price at $150 approx. However, it is not certain whether this new model will totally replace the older one. Or now there will be two different models in the market. If this is the case, then the prices of the first model will definitely come down.
