A brand new smartwatch by Mobvoi is running on Wear OS.

Mobvoi has developed another smartwatch and this time it means business. If you are aware of Mobvoi and have even a little know how about the moves Mobvoi makes in the field of wearables and smart watches, they you may have imagined the smartwatch right already.

Mobvoi has already launched a smartwatch called TicWatch Pro. There isn’t much difference between the two variants except for TicWatch Pro LTE coming with the ability of data connectivity. It doesn’t end there though, as the only data connectivity it offers is Verizon in the United States. Couple of new fitness and health features are also included in this LTE version for some good measures.

Data connectivity by Verizon is expected to be available by August this year. Yeap, you read that right. It is not available for now and it will not be here for almost a month after the launch of the smartwatch. TicWatch Pro LTE became available in markets around United States during this week on 10th of July. Mobvoi is very optimistic that Verizon will make the data connectivity available by August of this year.

The body and the look of this smartwatch is essentially the same as Mobvoi’s Ticwatch Pro as it carries the same 1.39 inches AMOLED display. The width and thickness of Mobvoi’s TicWatch Pro LTE is also the same with 45mm and 12.6mm respectively. Although, this variant of smartwatch is only available in black colour and it is 11g heavier than the regular TicWatch Pro. This smartwatch has a larger than usual size so it can’t be recommended to anyone looking for slim smartwatches. The strap is 22mm and water resistant, making it perfect for use while swimming. Other than all this, it has two buttons but rotation doesn’t offer any scrolling like it normally does in WEAR OS Smartwatches.
