The Casio GSW-H1000 G-Shock Smartwatch launched last week. Powered by Google’s Wear OS, it is a rugged smartwatch especially designed for the outdoors. With completely water resistant for upto 200 metres in-depth, it also has features for supporting a wide range of sports activities. Including racing, biking, physical training, surfing, climbing, snowboarding, skiing, swimming etc.
Other features part of this rugged smartwatch includes presence of air pressure/altitude sensors, accelometer, gyrometer, compass and and optical sensor for PPG Heart Rate. Data recorded by the watch can can be tracked via the G-Shock Move app available on Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
Enclosed in a titanium casing and with a urethane band for flexibility and durability, this smart watch gives a smart and comfortable fit. An ideal gadget for indoor and outdoor use, especially for excursion, exploration tips and adventures. With a battery that can be charged completely in three hours time, the watch can run non-interruptedly for 1.5 days.
The Casio G-Shock GSW-H1000 Smartwatch is priced at GBP 599 in the UK and around $700 in the US. Details regarding its availability in different areas worldwide will be announced soon.
