Amazon has made Amazfit T-Rex available on its website for online orders in the United States. This smartwatch was unveiled at CES 2020 back in January this year.
Amazfit T-Rex is highly durable smartwatch designed especially for hardcore athletes and adventurers. This smartwatch is water resistant under up to 5ATM of pressure under water. The 390mAh battery on it has a long battery life optimal for outdoor workouts and activities. It also has BLE connectivity, BT5.0, Built-in GPS/GLONASS connectivity and fitness and health monitoring sensors like Geomagnetic, 3-axis acceleration, Ambient light and PPG Optical HRM Sensor.
The display screen on this smartwatch is 1.3 inches wide with 360 x 360 pixels resolution and an always-on AMOLED screen. The body is carved out of highly durable polymer with its 47.7mm x 47.7mm x 13.5mm dimensions. The There are four button present on the sides which include Select, Down, Up and Back. Surprisingly this smartwatch only weighs mere 58 grams including the weight of the strap as well.
The battery on this device can go on for 20 day of normal functioning before needing to charge. It falls down when the GPS in use to 20 hours but on basic mode, it can keep running for around 66 days.
Durability of the Amazfit T-Rex is exemplary. It can withstand extreme temperature conditions from negative 40℃  to scorching heat of 70℃ . This extreme durability has managed to get this smartwatch a certification of United States Military Standard 810g.
Amazfit T-Rex has more than a dozen sport modes which include open water swimming, mountain hiking and outdoor skiing. This smartwatch offers connectivity to both IOS and Android devices. With all these features, this smartwatch competes directly with Garmin Fenix 6.
Consumers in the United States can now order the Amazfit T-Rex from Amazon now. It is available there in two color options, Rock Black and Army Green.
