Amazfit GTR Lite: Huami Reveals the Budget Smartwatch

0

Huami has released another smartwatch in the line of Amazfit GTR smartwatches series. This smartwatch, called the Amazfit GTR Lite costs less than the original Amazfit GTR with only one major drawback in terms of functionality.

Amazfit GTR was launched only a few months back and it made a few headlines due to its impressive features as a fitness smartwatch. It does not have too much “sporty” outlook which makes it very appropriate on your wrists even during business setting. As it is always the case with smartwatches by Huami, this one too had a very impressive battery life. Amazfit GTR is one of the excellent smartwatches which could prove to be very useful in everyday use. Smartphone notification and weather updates are some of the talked about features in this smart watch apart from the music control.

The Amazfit GTR Lite on the other hand has many identical features to the original Amazfit GTR including the body, dimensions and shape. It also has water resistance up to 5 ATM, 24-hour long battery life, 1.39 inch high resolution 339 pixels per inch AMOLED Display. It appears to be the exact clone of the original Amazfit GTR with its elegant make.

Initially there will be only one size available at the launch which will have a 47mm diameter but soon a 42mm version will be made available too. The body is carved up from an aluminium alloy which makes it very light weight.

As this smartwatch is being released as a budget version so it naturally loses some high end functionality which in this case is the built-in GPS connectivity. Another change is the reduction of sports profiles to 8 which used to be 12 in the original Amazfit GTR. Amazfit GTR Lite is expected to be available soon and will cost around $110 only.
