Acer is soon going to celebrate its 40th birthday. Due to this celebration, the company has announced a new series of wearables, computers and tablets. Coming our way in the wearable category is the Liquid Fit Leap. The new Fit Leap is an advanced successor of the previous Leap and the Leap Active.

The new Liquid Fit Leap is expected to come with an advanced heart rate monitor. Apart from providing with fitness data and keeping a check on the health of its wearers, there is something more special about this wearable. And that is the battery life!Acer has claimed that new Fit Leap will come with a battery which is twice the size of the previous Leap bands. And the claim, if true, means that this smart band will have the longest battery life as compared to all the other bands available. How much the battery capacity would be isn’t known till yet! But that would be around a week or two.

Apart from monitoring heart rate, the Liquid Fit Leap also connects with Acer’s personal coaching system. The app will track the activities of the users and will also set targets for fitness and health. It will also provide the users with fitness and activity progress reports and will remind them about the medications and when they need to stay active.
Price and other availability details haven’t been revealed by the company yet.
