Pre-orders for Avengers Edition of Amazfit Verge 2 have been opened by Huami across China. This special edition series only has five thousand units for sale. Originally scheduled to be made available by the end of July, the launch of this wearable was pushed forward due to some complications and hurdles in manufacturing.
This limited edition of Amazfit Verge 2 was unvieled back on the 11th of July this year alongside Amazfit Verge 2 ECG and Amazfit Verge 2. ECG Variant and the limited edition variants were slated to be up for sale few weeks after the announcement while Amazfit Verge 2 was made available in the market right away.
According to Huami, complications in the manufacturing were the reason behind the later than scheduled release of these smart watches. The body of this smart watch which is crafted out of ceramic takes up around 35 days of processing with precision. While there is still no word on the ECG variant of Amazfit Verge 2.
Amazfit Verge 2 carried some really interesting features which made it stand apart from its predecessor. These features include health alerts, support for eSIM, a larger body and display size, and a high resolution 454×454 pixels display with 326 pixels per inch resolution.
Inside the body, this smart watch is fitted with a gyroscope, heart rate sensor, accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, barometer, GPS+GLONASS+BDS, NFC, Microphone, Speaker and a light sensor. Avengers edition of Amazfit Verge 2 will carry all of these mentioned above properties with some differences in appearance. Internally it will have watch faces based around the Avengers theme while on the outside, the strap features logos from The Avengers.
International release of Amazfit Verge 2 still hasn’t been confirmed as of yet but are hopeful it is not too far. In China, Amazfit Verge 2 costs a US equivalent of $200 and can be ordered online from official flagship store of Amazfit.
