Movado has launched the successor of its Connect Smartwatches. These smartwatches run on Wear OS and just like Movado Connect, Movado Connect 2 is also sleek, elegant and cleaner finish in design. All this is topped by much better internal specifications.
The predecessor of Movado Connect 2 was launched two years ago during 2017. Its elegant yet simple look grabbed a lot of attention around it. And now the company has finally announced the successor of this watch which packs in all the high end features of a smartwatch including internal storage of 8GB, RAM of 1GB and a snapdragon 3100 Processor. Fitness tacking on this smartwatch also took a huge leap forward as Movado Connect 2 introduces a heartbeat monitor on its back which was obviously missing from the first Movado Connect.
Apart from that, all the features from Movado Connect are also present in Movado Connect 2.0 which include Google Fit, Google Assistant, and Notifications for phone calls, emails, appointments and messages on social media. Google Fit monitors your distance travelled, calories burned, steps taken and heart rate. There also room for other apps and music. Besides that, this smartwatch also has and enabled NFC with Google Pay.
It has become a trend these days for smartwatches to be introduced in two size variant and Movado followed this trend to no one’s surprise. It has two variants based on its watch face size. The larger watch face is 42mm while the smaller one is of 40mm. There are about 15 different styles and design options based on the liking of both women and men. The dial is also customizable with more than 100 variations and there are also multiple design options for the strap as well.
“These are beautifully designed smartwatches enhanced with Google’s cutting-edge technology,” Efraim Grinberg. He is the Chief Executive Officer of at Movado Group.
