Amazfit Stratos 3 is expected to be launched soon and as we move closer towards its unveiling, we are hearing more and more news about it. Latest news are that there are a couple of versions of this smartwatch, an Elite version and a Standard version. The Elite version is expected to cost more than the standard version as it will come with some extra features.
Amazfit is going to unveil two brand new smartwatches during this last week of August. One of them is going to look a lot like the Apple Watch, which will most likely be an update of Amazfit Bip 2.
The other smartwatch will be called Amazfit Sports Watch 3. This smartwatch will be an update of Stratos. Stratos 2 is Amazfit Sports Watch 2 so it is only logical to conclude that Stratos 3 is going to be the Amazfit Sport Watch 3.
Huami is the in-charge of manufacturing products for Amazfit and its CEO has been dropping a lot of hints for what to expect for Amazfit’s upcoming smartwatches. Let’s not forget that the CEO of Huami also serves as the Vice President there.
The Elite variant of Stratos 3 is expected to be a result of much better quality and craftsmanship which will entitle it to a bigger price tag. This Elite version of smartwatch will come with more robustness, resistance to water and a Tic4 alloy of titanium.
“As a professional sports watch, the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 uses a reflective display like the previous one,” Said the CEO of Huami in a post on Weibo. “The difference is that this time we used a 1.34″ un-notched full-circle screen, which makes it easier to view information and more beautiful when exercising. Because it is difficult to find such a large and high-quality reflective display on the market, we spent millions of dollars to customize this screen exclusive to JDI.”
Prices of these smartwatches are expected to be somewhere around $280 and it won’t be a surprise if the elite version crosses that $280 price tag.
